I rounded the top of the blade for comfort and tilted the handle upward slightly to keep knuckles off the cutting board
Forged from 1095 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Lined Micarta handle sanded to 120 for grip
Overall length: 11 1/2 inches
Blade: 7 inches
Depth at the choill: 1 1/2 inches
Thickness: about 1/8 inch at the choill with a distal taper to the point
