Yangdu mentioned to me that Kumar is in the hospital and can't return to work for at least a month. I sure he doesn't have internet access but I"ll send my smoke and prayers anyway. We need him back pounding out more khuks.

Kumar is having some kind of problem with his liver.:(

Moving thread to the Cantina....

The water in Nepal is bad, Yangdu explained to me. Uncle Bill was actually doing a smart thing by drinking beer when he visited...

Hepatitis is common. Little beasties in the water and other contagions.

Best wishes, smoke and prayers for him! I hope he gets all the care he needs.

no wonder Yangdu is so busy...she probably spends all her time on the phone with y'all....

OK...this is the Cantina guys...take it easy. :p

On a serious note - prayers and well-wishes from NWAR headed your way Kumar!

:(

I don't work in drinking water purification, but if someone thinks that the shop needs some way of getting clean water to the kamis I would be more than happy to find some kind of chlorinator and donate it to the cause. Most are set up to deliver a 1.0-3.0ppb feed, but there are some available that do .5 and less. Anyone know what normal city tap water's chlorine level is?
