Smokey Mountain Knife Works Buyer Beware

In 1992 I completed five years with the company I worked for then. They gave me a brochure of items I could choose from for a "5 Year" anniversary. Being a knife guy, I chose the small, lock-back folder with the company's name engraved on it. When it came, it was a Bear MGC 2½ inch blade with brass scales with the company's name and "5 Years" engraved on it. As I compared it with the other items in the brochure I could have chosen, I realized the company paid about three times what the knife was worth and, since I don't work for that company anymore, Does anyone want to buy a good $15 knife for $45?
 
I ordered two cheap knives from SMKW back when the Pakistani crap was
just coming into the U.S..I figured how bad could a Bowie be for that price??
Well they were bad so i exchanged them for a Ka-Bar.SMKW credited me the shipping on the new order so I was only out the return shipping.I don't know
if they do that anymore but they were very fair to me.
