Smoothing out the handle of a Buck/Mayo

What is the best way to smooth out the sharp edges on the handle of the Buck/Mayo? I love the knife and it is my EDC but the edges of the handle could use a little smoothing down, especially on the pivot end. Since the handles are titanium I wasn't sure if a fine file would do the trick without making it a mess of scratches.

Any advice?

I used a diamond file on my Leatherman to carefully smooth out the cutting residue along the edges. You cannot even tell and it is much improved!

i just took the knife apart and smoothed out the edges with a fine grit sandpaper
