Nice knives Preston...:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

By the way, verpil is permanently banned...

Nice idea for a thread. I’ll play. Always been a big 112 fan, and need to pick up several more. :thumbsup:

First is a standard 420HC round bolster 112 with finger grooves.

Next up is a 2 dot with no nail nick. Definitely a favorite.

Thank you, sir! And good eye, you are spot on. She’s a 2007, with the extra toggle button built in the volume knob. :thumbsup:

The 112 is in my opinion a perfect EDC in urban environments, in addition to being a model with history and tradition, which demonstrates the correctness of its design.

I agree, like it's big brother the 110, nice knives and photography!
Tell me about the tang stamp on the top knife, please, thanks. Preston

Skyler, it's all good! Can you show that one with the blade closed? Thanks, Preston

I share the opinion that the 110 is also perfect, both are for me the best folding knives manufactured by Buck.

The top 112 in the photography is a 112 bought in Copper and Clad, what they call Charcoal, in steel 5160 and drop point sheet. The seal corresponds, if I'm not mistaken, to Buck's custom department.

Here's another pictures with his sister 110 from the same series:

Some day I will get a 2 line black micarta 112... for now I have a new "black" micarta 112, I wish C&C didn't do the nail nick on the 112 because it doesn't look as sleek and it doesn't match that good looking 110.

I have the 112 but not the 110, and I completely agree with you about the nail nick. Doesn't look good and doesn't need to be there....

not sure the nail nick needs to be on the 110 either. i never use it. thicker spine and hollow ground allows me to open just by pinching the blade even with wet and slippery hands. guess some use it and like it.

I didn't say anything was wrong? I was just kidding with you?
Right, you said 'poor', I took it as something was wrong and I know you were kidding.

FYI, Years ago, I made several of these in various sizes out of a Raku clay that had mica, schist and several other elements in it. I've used them in various Buck knife photos. Preston
