Over the past two weeks I’ve purchased four Emerson’s.

The first to arrive was the Sheepdog. It’s the only one on bearings and the action is as you’d expect. Buttery smooth. They’ve addressed the closed detent so you can’t shake it open no matter how hard you try. Closure is drop shutty.

Yesterday the Appalachian arrived. It’s on washers but you’d never know it. Action is superb and it’s easy to coax a drop shut with little effort.

A Mini Commander (Limited Edition) (black blade, coyote tan scales) will arrive later today. Tomorrow or Friday a CQC-7BW with stonewashed blade and OD green scales will arrive.

I hope these last two are like the Appalachian since they’re all on washers.
