Great looking example.
This one is circa 1988/89.
They are always hard to value as these things are generally worth what someone will pay for them, but I would say $1000 to $1200 would be a fair price.

Steven, thank you very much for the helpful info. How did you date the knife to 1988/1989? Is there a chart somewhere with the serial #s date ranges?

I concur with Steven, I have been watching the OPKs for a few years now, you see them listed at asking prices of $1500 - $2000 on dealer and auction sites, but don’t sell for that. The smaller SA knives are in the $900 - $1100, and the larger SA knives are $1000 - $1200, depending on condition and if there is the original birth card and box.

I was one of Chris's dealers way back when and I just know. In this case I can tell by the model, serial number and the "Made in SA" mark.

There were no boxes for these in those days and Anne may still be able to give the new owner a "Birth Card"

Hi Steven65 Steven65 , I cannot send you a PM because your box is full. I’m going to post on your profile if that’s ok.

Oh so in the case of this knife it’s only missing a birthcard, and Anne might be able to get a Replacement with an approximate year of manufacture

Very possible. I know they have done it in the past.
