175What is the number?
Steven, thank you very much for the helpful info. How did you date the knife to 1988/1989? Is there a chart somewhere with the serial #s date ranges?Great looking example.
This one is circa 1988/89.
They are always hard to value as these things are generally worth what someone will pay for them, but I would say $1000 to $1200 would be a fair price.

I was one of Chris's dealers way back when and I just know. In this case I can tell by the model, serial number and the "Made in SA" mark.Steven, thank you very much for the helpful info. How did you date the knife to 1988/1989? Is there a chart somewhere with the serial #s date ranges?

There were no boxes for these in those days and Anne may still be able to give the new owner a "Birth Card"

Oh so in the case of this knife it’s only missing a birthcard, and Anne might be able to get a Replacement with an approximate year of manufactureI was one of Chris's dealers way back when and I just know. In this case I can tell by the model, serial number and the "Made in SA" mark.
