Southard Button lock Prototype

Been working on this knife for a long time! Took me a while to get everything working the way I wanted. I also took it slow trying to get the engineering and geometry just right. Got to create locking tapers and all that stuff at just the right angles. Tons of fun! Seriously! It was a blast to make.

I actually finished this just before G4 and delivered it then. But lost the photos. Well I found them this morning!!


BlackOut damascus Bolsters, and Clip, Titanium Liners, Mammoth Ivory Scales, Titanium backspacer. CTS-XHP blade. Pretty much awesomeness in a shiny package.

Yeah, what he said. I like the blackout damascus, giving the knife a darker presence.

That's very cool indeed, love the blade shape. I've never tried a button lock but it sure looks cool. I'd take one with a regular ti bolster and CF or G-10 scales in a heartbeat.
