Spyderco moving to MAP pricing!

This thread strikes me as an example of how priceless it must be for Sal to have a fully formulated user focus group full of engaged customers.

Looks like he appreciates it. His engagement is one of the reasons my $$ goes to Spyderco instead of the competition.
 
At 40% off MSRP being the default offer price, I'm sure consumers are getting a great deal. I mean who will buy from a dealer who doesn't advertise their Spydercos at 40% off.

But from a dealer's perspective, I wonder what's left for them especially since they have to stock many models as Spyderco's range is very big.
