No need to do this.

Just checked my account and they added a "countdown" register to show you how many "discounted" purchases you have remaining under the OpFocus program each year. A simple solution.

Members get to take advantage of a short "year" after the change and can still buy 10 knives from August-Dec (regardless of how many knives you bought between Jan-Aug 2020) before the countdown register is reset on Jan 1, 2021.
