Stag Handled Hunters (3)

3 stag handled hunters. Funny, I start with the same blade outline, but they all come out a tad different.

1/8" ATS34 marquenched, cryo'd, triple tempered, tapered tang
Dovetailed 416ss bolsters, 6 SS pins, red spacers
Premium (ie. now unobtanium) Stag scales

Ready to go to the engraver.

I just sent a pair of of my Hayabusa Tanto's off to Richard Rosvall for schrimshaw. Trying to make two knives exactly the same was TOUGH!! I would rather make sets like my Small and Medium Hunter, that way they can VARY a little bit and STILL be a SET

Very nice work on your three knives. They are beauties!!

Really nice, Matt. I like the hand rubbed finish on the blades and the way you "profiled" (is there a name for this?) the pins to match the texture of the stag. Nice stag handles like this make me hope that the Indians will come to their senses soon and resume export!
