Stainless Damascus Questions

I'm looking for some feedback on the rust-resistance and practicality of Norris stainless damascus and Damasteel. Given the proper care, how will these two survive daily use?

Your thoughts?
 
I can only tell you about Damasteel. I have used it for several years and I believe it has excellent rustresistance...It is great for a user steel.
 
It depends on the steels used in the Damascus. If they are all stainless they won't rust, unless abused. Some contain D2, however, and that will rust.
 
I wear a Damasteel knife from Jens. It has the same stain resistance as RWL34 or 154CM so just a minimal care is required. If you wear it under the shirt it will be in contact with your skin so you need to clean it daily or it will eventually rust. I managed to make a small rust spot on mine after four days of wearing and not cleaning, it wasn't big deal to remove but I learned a lesson and now I clean it every time I wear it. No problems since.
