Steel liner question.

I am still learning the Spyderco Line past/present so I need some help. I don't mind the solid FRN body on the smaller knives but prefer some metal with the larger FRN ones. I was pleasantly surprised to see steel liners on a D'Allara and picked it up. A very unique knife that got me wondering which other ones(new or old FRN) are the same. I am not knocking the non metallic ones, but I am from a metal generation(Colt 1911 preference should explain it).

The Gen4 Delica, Endura and Endela have steel liners under the FRN. Earlier versions did not have liners.

Spyderco seems to be going to metal liners from what I am hearing here, wonder why, maybe to deplete my bank account. Thanks for all the replies.

The account is not depleted already?:D
I'm trying not to buy at the moment, bought a new mower on Friday so my account is depleted but an all black tenacious lw is on the wish list.
