The bead blast finish on blades that several companies used to use don’t wear well over time. Has anyone ever just stonewashed a bead blasted blade? I’m wondering how this might turn out…
All of the how-to articles and videos I find on stonewashing seem to demonstrate acid etching first. I’m not necessarily going for that dark stonewash look. Anyone have insight on how the bright, more polished looking stonewash is achieved on factory blades such as Microtechs and some modern Benchmade knives?
