I served on the USS Portland LSD-37 from 1984-1987. Boatswains Mate 2nd class, Deck department, 2nd Division.The Schrade-Walden riggers knife. This is the second knife I bought from the estate. The Sailor served on the USS Portland LSD37, USS Iwo Jima LP42, and the USS Vogelgesang DD862 - glad I wrote these ships down on a scrap of paper when I bought the knives in 2013.
