Spent some time today stipping the black coating off a Benchmade 9050 AFO. Must say I really like the difference it made. Here are some pics. Hope you like it. I do!! Sorry but I take bad pics, but you'll get the idea.
I just used sand paper, and a lot of elbow grease. That black coating was hanging on for its life. It was not very easy to get off. I started at 150 grit and worked up to 600, then finished it off at 1500 grit.
