The Subrosa wasn't out for very long. Does anyone know why it was discontinued so soon?

I still have mine from a few years ago. Real nice looking titanium folder with assisted opening. I think the price and the opening mechanism was not up the alley for most Benchmade fans.

Awe too bad. I liked that knife. I may have to see if any knife sites have any brand new in box ones still in stock.

Seems like the favorites get discontinued faster than the more mundane knives. That could mean that the more mundane knives sell better, which I don't understand.

Mundane knives cost less. Knives that cost less sell more. Seems to me, that there are a lot less people willing to spend $200 on a knife than people willing to spend $50 on a knife.
