Terriffic work, Esav! Thanks!

Perhaps would be handiest as a sticky at the top of General -> Blade Discussion Forum?

Wow, Esav, thanks for all those links! I'm still quite a newbie, despite having some 600 posts. I can't wait to dig in and start reading and learning.

If any of you have other links in these categories, please let me know, so I can add to the files.

A knifewiki isn't a bad idead. Unfortunately it appears that someone registered both bladewiki and knifewiki.com and is in the process of setting up a site.

If you need a PHP/mySQL programmer, I can help.

re: domain name: how about wiki.bladeforums.com?
I don't think it'd be too hard to set up; it should just be a case of installing mediawiki on BF's servers and then copying some existing articles from wikipedia.

I think this is a great idea.

(PS: see my website for some of the PHP stuff I've done)

Bumping this, this needs to happen, imo. Been thinking about this (again) for months. It would solve search problems and hopefully repeat threads and just general lack of knowledge. The real issue would be dedicated wiki mods to stop edit wars.

I'm not opposed to a Wiki, but we've got other issues that have to be taken care of first. A Wiki is down the road.
