good day friends,
I spent the year making kitchen knives and finally made it back into slip joints. I took the better part of October to work on practice slip joints and refining the process and learning new techniques.

This is my first slipjoint to be ready for your consideration. I've worked with the Damascus Suminagashi for more than two years in kitchen knives. This is also my first radius bolsters as well as my first time jewel machining the liners. This handle shape is a design of my own based on a Howard Hitchmough fixed blade, the handle accommodates both a wharncliff and clip point style blade shape.

Blade steel - Suminagashi, Takefu white steel core and mild steel laminations
Scales - African pink ivory
Liners/Bolsters - stainless steel, silicon bronze radiused

Blade length - 2.85”
Closed - 4.13”

I hand forged and heat treated the blade, quenching in straight water to a 63-64 RC
Flat ground blade, etched finish,
Half Stop, Medium pull spring yet comfortable to open.
This blade is hard and suitable for slicing.
I ship my knives very sharp.

Asking - no longer available
shipping USA with signature conf - $15
Int’l at your cost.
