Surface Grinder - Convert to belt or not ?

Finally got better wheels (made for order)
From mix of AOx ( mostly AOx with Cr ) 60I .

Work a lot better:

DOC: 1pass - 0,02mm , 2pass - 0,01 - sparkout

Working good when I use a lot of coolant in Fogless mister, but a lot less than in flood cooling.
Time to make coolant tank from 11kg propane-butane tank.
And get second nozzle from opposite side of wheel.

I Dream about manual feed 500x200mm surface grinder ;_; (stones for manual, CBN wheel for hydraulic)

In the end I will making Belt Conversion.

But I will be able to switch between belt and ceramic wheel :)

Geez Don, don't tell me that's Your finger...

Bill
Yep Bill, 4 hours in the ER yesterday. We couldn't stop the bleeding here at home, went to a walk-in clinic & they sent us to the ER. Said they didn't have to tools to fix that.

Was it a cut, or did you just grind off the end of your finger???

I think I'll have to make a "housecall" at Blade :D

Ground off the nail and all the meat below and behind it. Luckily it didn't get into the bone, but right down to it.
I would like a "housecall" at Blade, Bill. See ya soon. Thanks!

Don, be sure your finger doesn't get infected, hopefully you are on antibiotics already. Keep it cool and immobile for a good week and check everyday for infection. Any sign of infection, go to the doc asap. An infection in a finger can result in loss of the finger. I was injured some years back on my surface grinder and learned not to take it lightly. Get well soon and go see you regular dr. right away and let him/her take a look.

Kevin, I'm taking care of it & on antibiotics.

Kosa, not sure how I did it, was in a hurry and likely used my hand to brush grit off the magnet and got finger too close to the wheel. It will not happen again I assure you! ;)

Thanks guys.

Don,
 Rest up and I hope it all heals quickly for you.

I have done a few, Pegging the Geek meter stunts in my shop over the years myself. ;) Its always being in a hurry.

Don, glad to hear you're taking care of it, that sounds like exactly how I hurt myself too, one second of inattention and bingo, ouch.
Hang in there!
