If they made a video critical of survive I wouldn't have watched it, just like the one of them gargling guy, or any of their other dumb bro videos.

You're posting often in a thread about the negative behavior of Survive! but you would refuse to watch videos elsewhere highlighting said negative behavior. However, you'll watch pro-survive! videos elsewhere? To be critical of them? That's strange. Is it more about being angry with people who aren't angry?

What's that saying I see so much here? I seem to be living in your head rent free.

It seems to me like they're turning themselves around. I'm getting my orders. Other people here are getting their orders (after an unacceptable wait). People in other forms are getting their orders. Knifes are showing up in shops and online stores. I'm happy with my knives and seeing others finally getting theirs. I like made in the USA products and American companies.



As much as I think some have gone beyond being critical and find themselves in the realm of being obsessed with their outrage for Survive! (and those who aren't outraged by Survive!) you're still doing a service to knife buyers by bringing attention to their past. People can make better informed decisions whether or not to purchase and it's probably helped push or contributed towards Survive!'s improvements. Good job all.

They have a years-old backlog of unfulfilled orders and are continuing to accept payment up front for new orders.

They are NOT "turning things around". They are continuing the same Ponzi scheme that they have always done. Even if they issue a refund, they have conned people into providing an interest-free loan.

Feel free to spin it any way you want, but those are indisputable facts.

There's some serious cognitive dissonance going on here. You yourself admitted that people weren't getting their orders a week ago.

They haven't touched their 2015, 2017 or 2018 orders in 4 months. Guy posted a video stating that all the older orders were being finished up in July and would be completely done in 2 weeks. This after saying that all older orders would be completed in December 2021.

You can't hold someone with a proven lack of integrity, accountable for what they say. This troll and survive have that in common.
 
Happy others are getting theirs, knives turning up in shops, reads and counts every video comment, this Guy knows more about what's going on at the shop than the other Guy. Strange that.

I'm pleased Guy has one fan boy, even if it is his reflection.

After that video, more people are paying for something that they are not going to receive. Guy knows it, he justifies it by turning people into a line on a graph, less personal, he needs his salary coming in from somewhere, he's got to survive by any means necessary...

Ahhh don’t be such a spoiled sport and put people down because they don’t feel the same way you do.

Like I said earlier… not everyone reads the entire life history of a company when they choose to buy a product. I have no idea if Honda has ever screwed anyone over… I bought their product because I believe it’s a good product. And to date it has been. As much as they might be to you… knives are no different. They’re a tool… a product. You wanna attach some special meaning to them otherwise… that’s your thing and that’s cool. But it’s not a universal standard. You guys act like religious zealots.

Is SK! Wrong for anyone they’ve wronged? Sure. But there’s nothing wrong with other people choosing to want their product just because it goes against YOUR standard. Not everyone is a “True Scotsman”. Not everyone obsesses over a company’s history when choosing a product. it’s always possible they might get burned. But they’ll have to cross that bridge when they get to it.

You know why I made an SK! order knowing the reputation they had here? Because I’ve been here long enough to know how tribal, cliquey, and nasty BF can be. So I don’t take all the ridiculous 4 year hate-fest threads seriously. I chose to believe the folks that claimed SK! was honestly trying to improve instead. And my experience certainly went sideways. But I got my product that I paid for. So I count that as a win for me.
