As per the request, here are a pic of the Tac Ax. This piece o gear was designed by Ryan Wilson, to help in his duties on his county's SWAT team for breaking doors, particularly on mobile homes. The butt of the Tac Ax has a chisel edge that will get between the aluminum molding on a typical "trailer home" and by grasping the head of the tool, allow enough leverage to bust the door open destroying the standard cylinder lock.

If the door has a deadbolt, the reverse of the head is shaped to smash through the door, and hook behind the deadbolt, and pry it out of the door frame. The "normal" ax head blade serves well for "standard duties" as you can imagine.

Ryan's team mates call the Tac Ax, the "trailer house-key". This is a specialized, and typically takes 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Can you do custom variations of the Tac-Ax with a longer handle? Say 18-20 inches long handle overall length.

depusm12,
Sorry to say, but we have pre-cut the materials for the Tac Ax for the profile shown. We won't be able to accommodate you on a custom order. Thanks for the interest.

The handle is too short to get much leverage, make it longer, at least 12", should be longer that that. If you keep this as it currently is you wont sell very many.

trailer houses aren't known for their impenetrable nature, and that's what this was designed to open. this should be plenty long enough for the leverage required.
