Tactical Mission fixed blades?

A few years back, I bought an Ontario "Tactical Mission" fixed blade knife. Very similar in most respects to the Spec Plus lines of that time, but with serrations on the back of the blade ala the LSA, and no black coating. No idea what kind of steel it is. There wasn't much info available online at the time, and that hasn't changed over the years. Just wondering if anyone has any background info on these knives.

I have been looking for background info as well but I'm just wondering if $10 was a gokd price for the knife because I bought it yesterday and I have to say I am very pleased with the knife

From Bladeforums rules:

WHAT IS MY KNIFE / GADGET / SPATULA / TUNING FORK WORTH ?!?!?!?!

In order to curtail potential abuse of membership privileges associated with the forums, questions regarding valuation of knives and collections are limited to those with a membership level which permits selling on this site. Accordingly, registered and basic members may not start or post in threads with such requests whether with the intent to sell or for informational purposes only. This rule applies throughout the site.

In other words, without a paid Gold membership, you don't get to ask about sale values. Too many people abused this question to hint they had a knife for sale, which you need that membership for.

We're no appraisers anyway, so we wouldn't have been a great option for telling you what anything we're not selling currently is worth. Once we stop selling an item, the secondary market can really go just about anywhere with it. I'd also like to apologize for missing this thread the first time through. When I started watching our BladeForums account, I have to admit I could not have been considered an expert on using this forum.

I don't know much about this blade, although after a quick google search, I've seen it hanging on the wall at OKC. I'll do some digging on the specs.

I'd definitely still be curious to find out what kind of steel was used. I'm guessing it's some some sort of middle-of-the-road stainless.

Ok, here's what we've learned -

These were part of a limited run about 15 years ago. The steel is probably 316 stainless, but there's a small chance you could have gotten your hands on one with 302 stainless. There's no real difference in the knives when made with one or the other, so unfortunately, at this point, we won't know for sure whether it's 316 or 302.

Thanks for that. I'm not familiar with either steel, but it's something to study up on I guess.
