I take a few business related trips each year (Jewelry and knives), and have taken family related trips .... but Judy and I have never taken a trip just for the two of us.
We are getting ready to leave for the Virgin Islands for a nice trip.

I have sawn up the trees that fell in the hurricane, and the house is fine. Someone is house sitting and feeding the cat. I may check in Shop Talk on my tablet, but probably won't be doing much here for the next two weeks. So, have fun and behave yourselves. I'll have a painkiller ( a local drink at the soggy dollar bar) in honor of all you chaps.

Thanks Esav. Keep an eye on these rowdy guys for me while I am gone.
Also, a belated Shana tova.

safe travels and enjoy! It is very nice to forget all about technology for a couple weeks!

It has been amazing so far! Weather is wonderful, view is awesome everywhere you look. If the surf calms down a bit I will go snorkeling in Trunk Bay today. Went to the BVI's for the day yesterday (Jost Van Dyke), and hit Foxy's, Foxy's Taboo, Gertrude's, and Soggy Dollar. We made the trip on Rockefeller's former excursion boat, the Cinnamon Bay. 70 years old, and made of solid mahogany and teak.

Everywhere you look there are dozens of islands.

Awesome Stacy! Hope you're loving it! I actually applied for a job there a couple years back, but decided it wouldn't be good for my relationship! Lol!

I do hope you realize that it's mandatory to drink at least one rum drink per day while on the island...

Heading home this evening. Trip was wonderful .... didn't want to comer home.

Took a side trip to Jost Van Dyke and visited Foxy's, Foxy's Taboo, Gertrude's, and Soggy Dollar. Scenery was stunning all the way. Visited Sandy Spit, which is the white sand beach in the Corona commercial. Snorkeled trunk bay and recorded an hour of underwater video.

Here is a shot or two of the fun. Notice the nice scenery in the background at Soggy's :)
Second shot is Lexi, our host daughter, who is a real island girl.
