I have recently really taken a liking to his knives. Simplistic and functional.

I don't hear much to any buzz about his work around here besides some small talk on the Buck TNT, Buck Maimea, and Buck Kaala.

Would love to see pictures of your Mayos and info on where I can find more of his knives!

Thanks and advance!

Good luck :D

Most push 1k+

That said, I feel you.... if only I afford one :grumpy:

Tom's knives are excellent and certainly good value when purchased from the maker. His trademark TNTs were Titanium and Talonite, now you will find other blade materials. The fact that he has been able to separate himself from other makers with his "holes" is a big plus to me. The few I've owned had excellent fit and finish.

Maybe Anton will comer on and post up some of his outstanding collection.

Tom is also a heck of a nice guy!!

Anton! Anton where are you?:D

Tom makes very, very good stuff... It's a meat and potatoes type of knife, no anodizing, ornate inserts etc...., just solid overall work.

Call Tom a bunch, he loves that (just kidding). Tom's good people and you can't go wrong with his wares...

There is a member on here, Antonanton who collects his stuff and may be able to chime in.

EDIT- Oops, I didn't realize he was mentioned already. :)

I am a big fan of his knives!! They are fantastic. His knives are wicked, wicked sharp. I am always wanting MORE of his knives. I currently have 2; a TNT & small Covert.

I've been seeing some good deals on Dr. Deaths lately on the secondary market. This is a good thing, it's my all-time favorite design of Mr. Mayo's.
