Thamar Curve Spine Knife and All Around Khukuri for 9/1

Haha you edited jus as I posted :P didn't know you meant the last picture either :o

Thank for your reply Dantheknifeman,

Hanshee I think, just interest with the measurement and it design for.... in banana shape, how m. any oz it is! Very smooth construction

I don't know the weight of it, it feels light and lively. It does feel completely different than other khukri's. Not bad different, just different different if you get the flow of my river.

I've yet to try any cutting with it but I think I will at some point, gently of course to see how that different translates when you try to cut something. Timing will be different since the sweet spot will hit earlier than I'm accustomed to with KLVUK and AK.

The curved spine will be similar actually as it has a lot of drop to the sweet spot. I aim to try it out too.

Hi Banwanna,

sweet spot will hit earlier is because the curve 5" banana curve.
lot of drop to the sweet spot mean deeper and faster bring the target to reach the sweet spot.
KLVUK can be the standard. It's design for general purpose villager use daily while in the field.
KLVUK have a lot of room to enhance or improve whether acid treat, furniture wood color or maintain raw treatment. As I want to know, is the KLVUK is also using 5160 Carbon steel as the base. There will have one idea in my mind. Exchange the Neem Wood furniture into other material like AKM Polymer handle and apply other coating on it. With The Kydex sheath for the KLVUK is the most mix and match utility kukuri in tactical and modernize close combat blade.

Hmm that would be interesting, really like that liquid metal coating you linked. I'm most probably going to get some kydex sheathes for my KL/DBVUKS when I get the chance, unless I can find a decent leather sheath maker here in Aus

Customization your own stuff:
Liquid metal coating is just a suggestion for KLVUK and DBVUKS
I want to find some sheath maker online. However, it is inconvenient for me to ship in/out the blade and lost the turn around time as well.
Anyone suggest the simple way to apply Kydex sheet DIY - Tools and Kydex Sheet for KLVUK and others HI blade.
