Before we go any farther in this new hawks & axes forum, we who enjoy traditional chopping tools (also very useful for skinning, butchering, pounding stakes, settling arguments etc. etc. etc.) should take a moment to THANK SPARK FOR SETTING UP THIS FORUM FOR OUR DISCUSSIONS!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again, Spark. As I said in the hawk forum poll thread, finding this new forum made the return from vacation a little less traumatic.
