The “Lightness” of an inlaid 31

I just received a new Macassar Ebony 31 yesterday, and one thing that has amazed me is just how light the dang thing is.

Still solidly built, but way light in the hand.

I haven’t been near my KnifeArt c-f Inkosi Insingo to compare their weights yet, but it sure seems this 31 is lighter, which seems crazy.

I’m hoping to get there tomorrow so I can weigh them and compare them for certain.

Anyone else whom has a wood-inlaid 31 notice this?

I'm curious, small or large? What's the weight? My KnifeArt CF large weighs 107g, my small:66g. This is including the KA lanyards with Ti beads.

I don't have a CF but ti weighs more than wood.

Small 31 PJ. 2.9oz.
Small 21 ebony. 2.8 oz.
Large 31 PJ. 4.75oz.
Large 31 ebony. 4.55oz.
