The "Ask Nathan a Question" Thread

You done oil and fuel filters yet?

I'll be doing my third oil change when I get back next weekend

I've been towing heavy so the oil change interval is shorter. Particularly with dinosaur juice.

12,000 miles, time to move to synthetic

Yeah I’ve been using T4, I just switched to synthetic. I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to run full synthetic 1030 in these anyways. 🤣

I get all my oil and fuel filters from https://www.dieselfiltersonline.com...iter-powerstroke-diesel-filter-and-parts.html

They are a lot cheaper than the parts store or Ford. I buy in bulk too to save on shipping.

Gosh that seems like a lot of up keep compared to plain gas. I dunno if it’s worth it, unless you are constantly towing sh$$ load.

Hey Nathan! 👋Will sales still be live this Friday at 3pm?🥳

Yes, that is the plan

Jo and I are on Emerald Isle on the North Carolina Outer Banks for our annual vacation. Cell reception has been spotty. I'm going to try to do a sale on Friday

Nathan what’s the difference between Delta 3V at HRC62 and Cruwear on the FK3 in terms of functional use, and corrosion resistance?

BTW Hope you and Jo are having a great time on Emerald Isle. :竖起大拇指::)
According to my query, Cruwear is lower than 3V in terms of toughness, better than ordinary 3V in terms of blade retention performance, and lower than ordinary CPM3V in rust resistance🧐
