Because this is a great community, and because I have personally benefited from the generosity of some of you guys here with no strings attached (I'm looking at you Casinostocks Casinostocks , woodysone woodysone , @grogimus, and JustinFournier JustinFournier ), I am motivated to start this thread off with a little give away.

This is a stainless steel firesteel striker. It's yours for the asking. I will mail it out on my dime (US postage only, sorry). I have six (6) now 2 of these remaining, so technically I should say "I will mail THEM out." I made this on our laser at work and fit the tang into a piece of 3/8" SS tubing. By "fit" I mean that I smashed the tubing a little and ground on the tang a little and jammed it together. It aint coming apart.

Here is the firesteel striker:

PM me to claim it, one per customer please. I will need your address. But there is a catch. In addition the string attached in the photo, there's another string attached...

Here's my hope - I can't call this a "condition", per se - but I hope you will follow suit.

@Nathan the Machinist - as the owner and moderator here, you may certainly wade in and provide direction or shut this down completely. I hope this in no way adds to your administrative burden. If this is out of bounds for the rules somehow, pull the plug and let's never speak of this again. I hope we can have a little latitude if we play nice and keep this fun.

Nice idea for a thread Tony ... I'm pretty well set for fire starting ... but :thumbsup: ... and maybe down the road I can add something to give away.

I have the guide and clamp to the DMT Aligner system that I'm not using. I bought the set for the stones and this is just taking up space in my junk drawer. Free to a good home.

I just wanted to post these two EDC2 kydex sheaths ... one is vertical carry one is horizontal carry ... I had Grog make some nice leather for my EDC2s so if anyone needs these I would glad send them ... nothing fancy but if you need one or both just let me know and they are yours.

BOTH SHEATHS ARE SPOKEN FOR ... thank Tony for the idea for a thread we can all share a little something that is sitting around unused and pass it along to someone who can use it.

Just PM me your shipping information and I will drop it in the mail tomorrow when I have a couple other packages to send out ... and ty but don't worried about the shipping costs it won't amount to much ... and as Tony stated when he started the thread ... just a nice idea to pay it forward when we can.

This was a great idea Tony had and PharetH you just showed why this little corner of the forums is a great place ... people seem more then willing to help each other out ... very little if any drama ... I'm glad I stumbled into this subforum ...

and I'm thankful for the friends I've made along the way ... and the spare set of scales was a very generous gesture P PharetH ... :thumbsup:

I'm new to the cpk community. My name's Mike. Thanks for having me.

I'm going to start here with offering one surplus AR15 30rd mag. They're some I picked up, has various military contractor. I got some newer ones so these just sit, but they work fine for the range or whatever. I'll include 20 rnds of ss109 reloads. I've had them since y2k, bought from some place in Kentucky that uses surplus components.

Maybe consider this a pay it forward and take a non-shooter shooting so they can experience it. I'll provide the ammo you keep the mag or let them have it.
