I'm glad you and the compound made it out allright. I've headed to Dale Hollow a few times, and one night we were riding on the tail of a storm. Ended up we tried to get off the Hwy when a tornado was rompin. Cops actually pushed us back on the Hwy because all the power was knocked out. I trailed a semi for a good 35 minutes with almost no visibility, and came to grips there was a good chance I was gonna die. I realized the power of nature and understood how dangerous large groups can be when exposed to such a force.

Long live the Horton Compound.
