Thanks, Chuck. I've been salivating over this model for a couple years but Panerai (according to the AD) doesn't discount and the sites I checked had the same retail price, circa $12K. But I stumbled on a dealer in Los Angeles that sold them brand new for $2K less! And I registered it with Panerai, no problems.

The watch unfortunately had a minor issue (the rotor wasn't winding it) 2 weeks after purchase. But the store I bought it sent it to Panerai and it was fixed under the 8 year warranty. Which I was happy to see. I know, a lot of info. Thanks for noticing it.

Patience pays off! Most have pretty solid warranties. I'm definitely not there yet, but I just picked up a Squale GMT
