I hope this is being archived somewhere! Great information.

Thanks for the pics of this book. I appreciate your posts so much. Always full of instruction and interesting things. I've been thinking about this book and this was the catalyst I needed. Just ordered it.Thank you. Here are a few photos of that book.
This book looks great, is it out of print? I found a few used copies online but they were running $60.00 to $120.00. Thank you for the images.Thank you. Here are a few photos of that book.
Clem Kadiddlehopper - Nice pile! Thanks for posting them. I would love a look through the Scagel book. He made some amazing things! And signed by the author!? Cool!
Also, the Gun Traders Guide, I see some names I recognize there!
Thanks - the Levine book is signed also....
You can see it here in the lower left, along with other autographs I have.
.
Nice to have the signatures, Al
Dwight, You'll love the book
Marty, The book was printed in 1984 for the 100 year anniversary. I don't know if it has been reprinted. The smaller book by Derek Jackson overlaps but I haven't done a comparison.
Catalogs are a great resource for a library. Here are a few...
1890 Maher & Grosh
1905 Logan-Gregg
1910 Thomas Manufacturing
1913 HSB
1952 Logan-Gregg
1968 Abercrombie
1978 Victorinox
1998-2003 Schrade, Imperial and Camillus
It's hard to add to what's already been posted, but I'll try. The scout knife book is sadly dedicated to mostly just Boy Scout knives, and other models involved in the BSA controversy. It leaves out most of the best examples of the scout pattern ever made. But it is a good reference for scout knife collectors.
