The NEXT SALE

I think I understand. Can you guys correct me if I am not getting this right?
If I want to buy a Shiv 2:
I log in prior to 3:00 ET next Friday.
I go to the main blade selling discussion list here: https://www.bladeforums.com/forums/for-sale-fixed-blades.754/
I post a request to buy there at that time.
Then somehow Nathan or Jo contact me to get paid, and that is that?
It's also good to check their website. They will randomly post a few knives on their site without really telling anyone. (at the time of this posting they actually have a few fireman's tools for sale on the site).

You can try it on your own the first time for the full CPK experience, or you can request a sale proxy in the forum titled as such.

Yes you will place a request in the CPK sale post as soon as it is posted. Know though that they're usually sold out in less than 2 seconds, so you have to post fast.
2 seconds is a gross exaggeration of the amount of time you have for most CPK sales.
You will have to sit in the for sale area, refreshing the page often at 3:00 pm.
As soon as the sale thread shows up you will click it, scroll to the bottom of the page, type a single character, and hit “post reply”.
And then, do not get excited by what appears to be a winning post number. Instead, wait 5 seconds, and refresh the page to see where you actually landed.
Maybe this will be a slower sale. There was a preorder on this model. It is a specialized tool. It is a fairly expensive model. Perhaps the CoCK’s are satiated.
I’d still approach it as explained above.
Good luck!

Nathan will make a new sales post like this: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/sold-the-8-shiv.1980114/

You don't create a WTB post; You respond directly to his sales post (scroll down to see examples).

This next sale is for 40 units, so there will be time.

Also, unless the numbers get crazy, I'm going to try to accept additional orders beyond that for most folks posting within the first minute.

We've put this sale off and built up inventory specifically so folks won't get frustrated.

Also, this isn't the end of the Shiv. We'll bring some to Blade Show and we will also have some at our October 26th outlaw cut.

Also! Basic 5 are in the house! We're getting ready to start shipping those to the pre-order and we're going to have them on Friday sales after this one. We've made plenty of them and I'm confident that this excellent and affordable pattern will be available for everyone without crazy Friday sale drama.

Will the be signature FK3s available too or only basic 5s?

Will there be more Basic 5 sales? I will be out of pocket for this one. I have requested a proxy, but not sure how that will go.

Yes, I'm sure we will revisit this again after Blade Show. But, for now, this is what I have. Our primary focus will be fulfilling the pre-order.
