Hey all… Thank you for taking the time to check out round 1 of the knife collection reckoning. Every one of these samples are on the block because they persistently get out-selected by another specific knife in the collection.

All prices are OBRO and includes USPS Priority shipping with $50 insurance to all 50 states.

Benchmade 940-2 (Black/S30V)
$135

This is the black G10 S30V flavor of the Osborne Benchmade classic that we all know and love. I recently grabbed the CF/S90V variant, so this guy sadly gets the first round L. The scales pretty much look brand new, as do the back spacers. Few light scratches on the black Benchmade OE clip. There are a few very light scratches on the blade, which are hidden well by the blade finish. It currently slightly favors the show side and has a little blade play, because I tuned it that way for a drop shut action. Both can be addressed by tightening the pivot just a bit. Includes box and normal goodies.

Microtech UTX-85 T/E (Black/M390/Satin/Tanto)
$175

This was my token OTF, but has lost round 1 to my new Ultratrch Bounty Hunter. I don't see any markings on the M390 blade or scales. The birthday is 02/2018. It will occasionally misfire when rapidly deploying/retracting. From my understanding, I think it just needs to be cleaned but I've yet to buy the disassembly tool to take it apart and now it's going away. Includes box and normal goodies.

MCUSTA MC-12 (Damascus/Rosewood)
$100

I got this a few years ago off of Massdrop, when I was first dipping my toes into folders. Carried it a couple of times, but it just ain't my jam. I've kept it because it brought me joy in the asthmatics department. That being said, I can't recall ever actually using it. I do perceive some sort of fade on the blade, almost like the Damascus has faded? IDK…I can get pics of it if interested. No box or goodies with this one.

Alliance/Efros Ice Lite
$165

I dig this knife, I just always wind up reaching for my Techno 2 or Fire Ant when looking for this size folder for the watch pocket on my jeans. So, it loses and must go. The finish on the blade collects every fingerprint withina 3 mile radius, so i'm not sure if I'm seeing marks or smudges or scratches so I'm reflecting the C rating because of that. Includes pouch and box.

Massdrop/Zinker Dogtooth (Rosewood)
$100

This is the liner lock version of the Zinker Dogtooth with the Rosewood scales. This guy loses round 1 because I prefer my frame lock version, and I already have too many wood scaled gentlemen folders, if there is such a thing. Carried a couple of times, but never cut more than Amazon box tape. Includes box and normal goodies.

ZT0460 (Bronze CF)
SOLD

I really wanted to like this Sinkovich design, cause it is so light and good looking. But the truth is, I can't get behind the blade. I feel like the it's trying to run away from me when opening a box, which is probably 80% of what I do with my knives. For the sake of story, we'll say this guy lost out to my ZT0450. As for condition, nothing really stands out. I don't see any markings of note on the scale or the titanium lockside or on the clip. As with most of these, I'm going to say that there are light scratches on the blade , but I really think they're just smudges that I'm moving around. This one has a box.

Topps MSK 2.5
$40

This was a total impulse buy some time back. At the time, I was digging on my MSF 4.0 enough that I thought why not try the fixed blade. So, i did, it sat on a shelf, and now it's here, losing to its cousin that I like better, but may also appear on the block in later rounds. The knife's in pretty good shape. It was sharpened by the previous owner. There are some markings on the Micarta from it going in and out of the sheath. I added the lip on the Kydex sheath to make deploying a bit easier. No box or goodies with this one.
