Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next weeks Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or a lot of Buck knives... Just take some new Pictures of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Good Sunday morning everyone.
I'm home today, so thought I would contribute to the SPS with an older picture.

The 722 Spitfire is unusual for the fact that it was offered in 4 different steels including 3 of the 6 Crucible Powdered Metallurgy Stainless Vanadium series options. These steels are designated CPM S-XX-V. The Spitfire offerings included S-30-V, S-35-VN, and S-90-V. The other 3 materials are S-60-V, S-110-V, and S-125-V. The basic model utilized 420-HC.
The knife in the picture has a San Mai (sandwich) blade. The bread is CPM 154 and the bologna is CPM S-90-V. About 100 were produced. Blade length is 3 1/4” and weight is 3.2 oz. The Aluminum handle is CNC’d and anodized. The clip can be mounted R, L, Up, or Down, a nice feature for lefties. Jimping of the blade and the handle improves retention and control.

I get the handles from my friends half way across the world. Heath Stone does the work to get them all nice on the knives!!!
