I did put it off too long due to the other three surgeries, I was sick of being in hospitals

Edited to add: Hopefully that didn't come across wrong. I tend to put things off for way too long, and it is (usually) a huge relief to finally do something about it!

No don’t , fits the hand nice though, kind of reminds me of a custom Eldris, with a better flat grind.

I don’t carry one but I like the looks of them, the family has one from a family member who worked for the railroad, had to have it adjusted per the company rules to make sure it was accurate for the time schedules.

I did for a year or two, back in the days before we all carried phones. I had a friend who bought and restored vintage watches so I had a reliable source with good prices. I quit after running an Elgin 17 Jewel Hunter's Case through the wash.

Just saying hello, again. Has anyone gone to any gatherings lately? Not just JKs either but any shows or camp outing? I heard about the GEC gathering in PA. Anyone get to the knife show in Harrisonburg, Va back in April? I have been wanting to go for years but Something comes up or I forgot to plan for it.

I went to the show both days and it was almost like going to two completely different shows. Friday I went with my brother. He loaded up buying and trading. I bought a Bridgeport BSA hatchet. My older son wanted to go Saturday so I went back with him. I nearly maxed out my budget. I picked up a Kay Vikstrom puukko in excellent condition. Got a really good deal on a fixed blade by Rudy Dean. I met a new knife maker from Virginia who seems like a good guy. He's a veteran, his knives were EDC size, and priced reasonably. The best part was talking with an older couple who had a table full of new old stock Schrade Knives made in the USA. I walked away with several that were priced too good to not buy including one Uncle Henry folder model that I had never seen before.

I used to collect the USA made Schrades. Back around 2010 my wife was visiting her family in S. Illinois, she went into a small town hardware store that was closing. They had an almost full display case of them. She made all offer on the whole case, and got them all for me.
