I have been working in a very small town in Florida. I was quite surprised to find fellow workers who are completely unfamilar with the khukuri. Everyone is impressed. It never fails to amaze me the sound they utter when they pick up a HI blade. It is a quiet exhalation of breath in awe.
Some are even scared to pick it up!
