I added this Grandfather knife today and have been looking for info about the OEM use of red bone.
As the pic album of six photos shows there are the three pins in the right places. So that waver of modding new handles
is preserved. The knife has the look of old bone and lots of brass character.
Question. Did Buck make knives during the period of this integrated frame ,inverted two liner as a matter of ??
Special order, limited quantity for hardware stores? Or is this likely a case of re handling in the style of 60’s CASE red boners?
