I was looking for a left hand small Sebenza for a gift. Those babies are tough to find. Ordering one from CRK would take months. Only one place had a couple in stock- knivesshipfree. As far as fancy handles, forget it. I guess there isn't that big of a market for left hand knives.

They are hard to track down. The fanciest one I was able to find and have instant gratification was a small classic micarta. :)

There's a small lefty micarta in the For Sale section right now.

Better get there before I give into temptation.................

So glad I just got my micarta back from the spa. Or that would be mine. I noticed the seller says it's a Classic 21. I wonder, is it a classic or a 21? I didn't email since I have no intention of buying it. But it makes me wonder. :)

I'm a lefty and just gave up. All my blades are right handed and I got so used to it, the left handed versions don't do it for me anymore.

Don't give up lefty sebs are great! I have whole boxful. It just takes patience. It's worth it.

I was lucky enough to get a lefty umnumzaan, I know what you mean, be patient lefty versions do pop up once in a while here at BF.

Contact Reeve Knives directly and ask them if they have any or if they have recently shipped any to retailers. This has worked for me to get lefties in the past.

I did a quick search and found a few at several retailers. I would mention them, but there are rules here.

I did find one at one on line retailer. Everyone else is sold out. (They show them on their sites, but they are sold out) I called CRK first, but they said 4 months.

Plaza Culery has one Large 21 in their dog paw pattern. It's gold. Nice knife. My favorite now is my large micarta and my large insingo.

When you spoke with Reeve, did you happen to ask them if they had recently shipped any lefties to retailers? That is how I found two of my knives and my wife did it to find one that was a gift to me.

Several of the ones that I found are now marked sold. There is a nice small micarta lefty on sale on CPF marketplace-it looks new in the photo.

They are normally in short supply, but right before Christmas, all Sebenzas are nearly nonexistent.

If you're willing to try something a tad exotic the Ti-Lock opens and locks the same way right handed or left handed.

But, unless I'm mistaken, isn't the clip only drilled for the right side?

If being able to open a knife left handed is a primary need then I think a person can adjust to opening from the clip side. It's just different than you might be used to, but, then again , so is the Ti-Lock itself.

No the left hand Sebenzas are left hand all the way including the clip. I say if you want to open the knife with your left hand there is no need to have to learn to get used to opening a right hand model. Just get a left hand Seb and be happy and you won't have to compromise.
