If this has been asked elsewhere, I apologize for asking again. I have a nice kydex sheath that holds the knife too tightly. How can I loosen it up a bit? Thanks!
heat gun on a medium-low setting ensuring you warm the kydex slowly. Too close and hot will make the kydex glossy and brittle. Make sure you constantly move the heat gun around and do not heat a spot too long. Heat the area you think needs less retention and once the kydex starts to feel soft and pliable stop heating it and with gloves form the kydex how you want by hand and hold it for a few minutes as it cools. Once cooled down wait another few minutes and test the fit. Repeat until retention is desired. You can do this as much as you want as long as you done overheat the kydex.
