I'd just like to say that my new Recondo has been doing everything from cutting carrots to prying out boarded up windows. I swear BG-42 is an amazing steel. I stabbed it through the side of a refridgerator and it didn't even mark the edge. As a side note, I was able to wash off the TiNi coating with nothing more than Dawn and the back of a spunge... It's given the blade a very cool Pewter look.
