Hi,my e-mails all come back as un -deliverable to your addy,is it still jhouser@buckknives.com?I was wondering if you recieved my buck/strider880sp ,it would be the only one coming in from Nova Scotia,just wondering what your thoughts were on the knife?thanks.Don

Yes, that is the correct email address. I just cleaned out my mailbox so there should not be any problems now. Please send me another email with your address so i can check. Did you put my name on the outside of the box?

I did get that one message from you but now all my emails to you are coming back as undeliverable?
As of monday, we dont show record of receiving the knife yet. Did you put my name on the outside of the box? If not, it may be here but not processed into the computer yet.

I will take a look through our packages from the last couple days and let you know. Sounds like it made it here so I should be able to locate it.
 
Bingo!! I found your knife Don. :) I took a look at it and need some clarification from you on some things.
The liner needs a better bend, that will fix the blade play issue so we will get right on that one.
You said it has "bad grinds", I am not sure what you are refering to. The edge grind has a slight wave to it, which we can easily fix for you. Is that the one you mean?
The last item was the blade stamp. You felt that it is crooked. It is actually lined up to the backbone of the blade. It looks crooked compared to the line of the hollowgrind. We had to pick one of the two lines to orient it to and the backbone won out.
Please let me know and we will get to work on your knife. :D
 
Super.OK,Yes it was the edge grinds that looked off to me,and the stamp i'm not too worried about that,but the lock bar just being bent more will cause the lock arm to go farther off to the right,Like it was worn out,no?You can push the lock with your finger all the way to the right,so maybe a longer basr might be the fix.Anyway,thanks Joe,i'm sure you'll get it fixed up a1,thanks again,SORRY TO BE A PAIN!.Don

You sure dont have to apologize. I checked the lock bar and you are right, it does seem that either it is too short or the blade has an issue where it comes in contact with the liner. In any event, we will make it right, along with the edge grind. :)

...Doesn't matter which knife company you might think of...Not a single one can hold a candle to the Customer Service you'll get from Buck...There just is none better...None...:thumbup: :thumbup:
 
Yes,I do need to apologize Joe,I lost my cool with that knife and made some complaints here that just weren't right!I know you guys do your best to put out a quality product,and also we are all human and sometimes things slip by,thats to be said of anything thats man-made!

Buck has always taken care of every issue(not very many)i have ever had,no question ,THE BEST KNIFE COMPANY ON THE PLANET.

Well,i am patiently waiting ,but nothing has showed up yet,hope it arrives soon,that dang border sometimes slows me down.LOL
 
I checked and it looks like it was shipped on January 24th. Hopefully you should be recieving it soon. I got your last email by the way.
