My folks next door neighbor had this cane sword that I've been trying to get off him for years. He sold it to my dad yesterday for $100, and my dad gave it to me.

His neighbor said it was his dad's. His dad died in 1935 and no idea where he got it.

I know it's more a sticker than a sword, but I didn't know where else to post it.

Anyone seen or heard of the Toledo brand? I did some google searches and found a couple that had sold years ago.

It has a newer rubber end thing, I took a pic of it off.

Toledo, Spain is well known as a sword-making city. That's a really nice piece and well worth $100 in my opinion.

I love it. Thanks for posting. Once I return from exile (temporarily living in DC), I hope to design and make one myself.

If you want to check it out against the current gold standard for sword canes check out Burger Bros;
https://www.swordcane.com/

If it compares to theirs then you done real good.

Thanks, yes I have looked at those closely for inspiration. I was able to handle a couple customs at a knife show also. I want to plan the mechanism carefully.
