I had a small Stockman from mr Bobby Toole some months ago and couldn´t be more impressed. Fit and finish is excellent and Bobby has an artistic way to make his knives – has to be seen. The knife is mirror polished on the inside. He makes his own jigged bone. The knife is easy to open with a good snap. No blade play.

Well, I like the Stockman pattern and wanted a big one. I have a Moore maker (4 1/4) and a large Schatt and Morgan. I asked Bobby if he wanted to make me a 4 1/2 sized Stockman and he did!

I haven´t got the knife yet but I will take some more pictures when I have it (I use Bobbys pictures).

closed length: 4"1/2
blade matl.: ATS-34 Stainless
Bolster matl.: 416 stainless
Handle matl.: jig bone amber

Thanks!

Congrats, that looks like a fine knife. I love the stockman pattern and will be interested in seeing more images when available.

Enjoy it.

good to hear about the very high level of finish and extra step on the jigged bone.
