Top Choice in a Easy rod system under 100.00

I am still trying to decide to try the Spyderco rod system, or the CRKT or something else. After multiple tries with Arkansas stones, and other systems I have found that I am too likely to sratch the blade. The cheap Rod system I have now doesn't excite me much.

Any suggestions??

You just can't go wrong with a Spyderco 204 Sharpmaker. They are truly the "cat's meow" as far as portable, kit type sharpeners go. It is important however to watch the video that comes with it and to read the booklet that comes with it. They are available all over the net and most knife dealers carry them. I was at a Cabelas store the other day and noticed that they are now carrying them. GOOD LUCK :thumbup:

For the money, ease of use and results, Sharpmaker's hard to beat. I got mine as an interim step until I could afford a more expensive system ... now I don't need the more expensive system.
