Traditional French Fry day

Hi everyone. My first post in this thread (hopefully not my last). I like French knives, of which I don't have many, but I'd like to share them. I'm not good at pics, but here goes my Rossignol.

Laguiole Droit!! (Straight Laguiole)
Perhaps one of our French Historian Friends can correct me if I am wrong?? This style preceded the more gracefully curved Laguiole, and is still occasionally produced!
