Your airplane has crashed landed in the middle of the ocean and your the only survivor, and all you have is your trusty ________ clipped yo your pocket. what is it?? haha :D

Bm adamas. Fairly easy to keep clean. The D2 won't rust away overnight, locks up strong enough to pierce coconuts, and it's big enough to kill an island beast and eat:)

Ok, I will play. Ignoring the fact that they don't come with a clip (but you could fit one yourself) I would like to have a big sized Victorinox SAK. Say the Soldier model. Big locking 50% serrated blade of an easy to sharpen steel, a saw, and a few more implements to make your life easier (such as the awl, etc.).

I think that in one of these situations, knowing we have one and only one edged tool, we would use it with the outmost care in order not to ruin it, so brute strenght is not must...

That will be the Demko !

My Severtech of course. Having a "secret" clearance fron DHS ,I could get it on the plane,
and after a crash i could cut my way out of the airframe. Seems reasonable eh?

lol nice demko pics ;) and cutting yourself out of an airframe? arn't those made of aluminum? pfft aluminum :D

Really? How did you get the knife on the plane?

Just take it very literally, he said 'your' airplane, and didn't say where you took off ;)

If it has to be a folder, I'd hope to be trapped with something serrated and in a corrosion resistant steel.
Perhaps something like a Pacific Salt. Good for cutting rough stuff, can be used to clean fish and rinse off in sea water etc. and doesn't need to be sharpened to remain an effective tool (if you don't go completely bananas with it...).

not gonna lie, i want to beat that demko around a bit... i love the idea of a rugged built lock back like that, but i think i'd pick a swiss army knife soldier model. i can carve and shape most of the weapons and traps with it and use the awl to sew a seaweed sail for my coconut and sharkskin raft so i could sail myself off that island.

my god, your a freaking wizard if you can craft a raft of coconuts and shark skin :D

OP never said an airliner. It's your private plane. Heck you're even the pilot.

C'mon people, have fun with it or move on :D

I'd take the Seb 25 since I've recently fell in love with mine again.

Recon 1 or American Lawman a custom demo would be great but not in my price range maybe the new 4max which I really need to get my hands on
