I remember rolling into Buffalo Wyoming on the cycle at midnight in the fog - those Mule Deer were lined up along the roadside - hundreds of them - watching me as I rode by on the highway - spooky. They are not like our whitetails, who will run out in front of you as soon as you get up to them, the Mule Deer just stand at the side of the road and watch you.
They also don't drop their antlers until spring (as I am told) so there were a lot of bucks with big racks standing there too - again, spooky on the bike at night!
