I had a great trip to Canada! Jade West bought every Jade knife I had, all of the Kitchen sets, the website knives and even three I had ready for Ebay or sales to those on the Art In Stone mailing list. I came back with over 170 pounds of Jade plus a few thousand for the works. I was asked to do more Kitchen sets and between 10 and 20 more Buck 110’s and they are going to ship me another huge piece of rare Jade to trade for more knives.

So, I could be very busy for quite a while just working with Jade. If this all plays out well I won’t need to do many knives that end up on Ebay and that would be just fine with me. Things have been slow lately and the knives listed on Ebay often have been selling so low that I was not even making $10. an hour after paying for the Ebay/PayPal fees so this is wonderful for keeping me busy and earning enough to excite me and motivate me to get out to the shop.

In addition I got another order from a person he knows to do 6 knives with Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper and he gave me the rough to use and another large about 15 pound piece of Morgan Hill Jasper that is not a Poppy Jasper but looks VERY nice. So I probably came back with 200 to 220 pounds of very rare stone and a very nice check for my work.

Congratulations on your sale and acquisition of more rare stone! Be assured that a slow market & lower priced eBay sales are NOT indicative of the desirability or value of your art. I consider much of your work in my collection to be priceless... Stay motivated, my friend! You are one of a kind and so is your work.
I am thrilled that Jade West has an "extended contract" of some sorts worked out with you and I am glad you were handsomely compensated for much of your time and effort.
Be blessed.
Your Friend and Patron,
-Lance

I did a test polish on small pieces from the first two pieces of Jade in the saws. I am very happy with how easily these two pieces polish.

Three of the pieces I got from Jade West from the 2013 mining at the Ogden mine turned out to be AA grade, the top grade given to Jade by Jade West. I often refer to this grade as "gem grade" or "jewelry grade" Jade.

Here are some photos of this quality Jade on knife 2000PCS, a Buck 110 with the Buck knives Damascus blade.

AWESOME. Is Jade West getting 2000PCS or are you listing it on your website, or the big e auction site? I would love to have it!

The knife is #2000PCS and is on the email offer to the Art In Stone collectors I sent out last night at $490. If it does not sell I will be listing it on my website at $675.
